To be fair I'm not sure what kind of design you're referring to. Any examples?
Like the Iceland design but a white shirt with a claret and blue stripe down one side, I think Barcelona played in a yellow version in the early eighties? and im sure some English clubs wore similar in the seventies but I cant for the death of me remember who.May have to start trolling classic kit websites unless you can help me out.
You mean something like this...

...or like this (apologies for using Man City as an example):

...or the Barcelona version that you referred to:

If so, I would agree that it would be pretty awesome...particularly if we had our old circular badge back.

Exactly that City one but only as an away. Well found KRS, you obviously have a keen interest in kits as I always used to have, could you find me the seventies version im thinking of, its annoying me now, I think one of the stripes may have been yellow?? Yours in anticipation :)

A lad in my school back in the late 70s was a Cardiff fan and wore this kit for kick arounds on the local park.

Back then I thought it was quite a cool design.

When I was looking for the Cardiff kit I came across this classic from the same era.  Anyone fancy replacing the Y for York with a V for Villa?  No?  Thought not.

A white away shirt with Claret and Blue vertical stripes (similar to the Man City one) would look really nice.

I would never have thought of that...I've been trying to think of what decent teams in the 70s and 80s would wear a yellow stripe! lol

yep the sync feature is pretty good and very easy to do.
All I get is a Claret screen with the Villa badge on it?

Really? I have an iphone and I basically just followed the instructions for syncing the games etc and it appeared in my calendar within seconds really. I'm no techy so I found it quite convenient.
I'm trying to do it on my PC!
It's a GIF, just wait for it to change ... its like a 2 second video on repeat.

Yeah, I saw someone say that. I'm just saying what I would have liked.

Looks to me as if the light blue would extend all the way to the shoulder.
