Id take Adam and Crouch now .

I'd take Adam and Joe now.

I'd take the chuckle brothers.

thought we already had them

along with frank spencer, one of the flumps, that toad out of bagpuss and mary, mungo and midge

I'm disappointed we seem to have been unable, for one reason or another, to bring in any players in. But I think in all honesty there is too much wrong to fix quickly & too much ground to make up on those above us. We've effectively thrown the towel in.

I understand those who say we should have given it a go but at what cost & would it make any difference?

Say we spent £30m plus wages on 4 players (assuming they want to come here) but still went down. Those players wouldn't want to hang around & would we get our money back?  Then in the summer we can't bring in the players we want because we've blown our budget trying to achieve the impossible. As much as it hurts I think we have to accept that they've done the right thing.

No one was expecting them to spend thirty mill. They have NOT done the right thing at all. They have run the white flag up the pole.

I blame Tom Fox for us not stumping up the extra £500k for Robbie Keane when Gregory was here.

Remi Garde was potentially the best thing to happen for the club since SGT.  If those corporate pair of poltroons Fox and Hollis have caused him to walk it puts every other monumental f*ck up made at the club in recent years look nothing in comparison.  My gut feeling is that they have done the manager up like a kipper.

He hasn't gone anywhere yet Brian. He may well do though.

Agree Clamps but they appear very clearly to have made Remi Garde an unhappy man.

Done the right thing? 4 Premier League games have passed since the window opened. They should have been working tirelessly to identity multiple targets. How come Sheff Wed have managed to sign McGeady on loan and Middlesborough are on the verge of signing Rhodes. Both players would be an improvement on what we have now.

The board are an absolute disgrace and they should hang their heads in shame.

I am dreading tomorrow. I feel it is not going to be a good day. Not a good day at all.

I come from the future 6 months ahead. Neil Warnock says he's the man to keep us in the Championship.

Transfer Deadline Day Live

Quote

Look away Aston Villa, fans. An email from Adam Griffiths – “Stat of the day: Cardiff, currently under a transfer embargo, have signed more players this transfer window than Villa. If Villa were a racehorse, the vet would have put them down by now.

I've been to the year 3,000, not much has changed but we play underwater.  And Charles N'Zogbia still hasn't left.

Where has all this 'Remi is going to walk' come from?
To my knowledge there's been no indication of this at all. Or have I missed something?
