Nothing short of a disgrace  >:(

Garde has been well and truly hung out to dry in this window.

Any discussion about a new chairman and transfers should have gone on in December and Garde backed with the signings he asked for.  Personally I hope he walks.

The club can stuff it this season now, i'll stick to non league for 6 months and see what the summer brings, no doubt more misery from this bunch of baffoons.

Well done Randy you've finally killed us off.

Meanwhile at Bodymoor Heath, Tom and his faithful chief of recruitment are doing everything to keep #AVFC up.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in Nigel Pearson's house at this moment.  They will be googling up Sutton Coldfield estate agents.

I think this kind of spiteful disdain for our history and fans deserve some serious protests

I'm disappointed we seem to have been unable, for one reason or another, to bring in any players in. But I think in all honesty there is too much wrong to fix quickly & too much ground to make up on those above us. We've effectively thrown the towel in.

I understand those who say we should have given it a go but at what cost & would it make any difference?

Say we spent £30m plus wages on 4 players (assuming they want to come here) but still went down. Those players wouldn't want to hang around & would we get our money back?  Then in the summer we can't bring in the players we want because we've blown our budget trying to achieve the impossible. As much as it hurts I think we have to accept that they've done the right thing.

Once Garde has decided to marche I reckon Pearson will be found under the trinity Odemwinge style.

Getting rid of deadwood does not do anything to support the Manager, other than he has a few less to coach and hand bibs too. They are not getting prepared for the Championship. To do so would take foresight, not something that our regime is capable of.

The club is now a mirror of it's owner, listless, insipid, passive, incoherent, grey. For shame its an abomination you have perpetrated Lerner

Honestly I am shocked.

I didn't expect any decent players to sign during this window, we are as all have said not an attractive proposition. But fuck me if there wasn't at least one player out there who could improve us. One player who needs game time before the Euros, one player who plays for a team in one of the secondary leagues around Europe, one fucking god damn player who plays in the Championship and sees Villa as a step up from their current club.

Apparently not, silly me

I fully expect Garde to go at the end of the season and I wouldn't blame him one bit.
