Seat Wave
« on: September 26, 2015, 09:36:07 PM »
Be very aware when buying tickets.  It is not clear throughout until the cards details appear that you may  be  buying a kids ticket / over 65 year old.

The overseas customer services team are the pits

Buyer beware.  Villa need to take a grip of the matter generally.

It's pretty clear if you see the "R" in the grey box after the row which stands for restrictions, in our case that means it's a concession ticket.

It's very clear and much better than Viagogo because for the last couple seasons they removed listing the actual seat number, which I found highly annoying.

You missed the R and then on the very next 'buy' page also missed the big bit in bold saying 'Ticket Restrictions' which is also way before you enter any details.

overseas customer services means only one thing - they read solely from scripts, ignore  what you are saying and you go away more frustrated than  when you rang

Still, it's better than them coming over here claiming benefits and stealing our jobs.

The Vodafone call centre has to be the most infuriating ever, so so frustratingly inept and robotic it's almost funny.

I presume you can't assign your client reference number to tickets you buy anymore?

You can but you have to contact the club about it. I've only used Seatwave once, and just popped into the shop in town and got it assigned to my ref. It's a bit of a pain but as the ticket has been booked in your name and address they will reassign it.

Bollocks.  I think I have fallen for this as my receipt states 'concessions'.  I've emailed their support to see what that means, but no response.  What are the chances of getting in when you're pushing 40 with a kids ticket.  I can genuinely claim stupidity as I didn't see the R referred to above.

One big advantage they have over Viagogo is that they're still selling tickets the day before the match.
