It's like a weird fetish tuning into this crap each weekend
I'm pretty sure some gentleman must head to seedy underground dungeons in Soho, leather up and get tied to a chair, eyes taped open and forced to watch Villa play, whilst a dominatrix paddles his backside with a ping pong bat.

Beats me how you manage to post on here at the same time😱

And if anyone wonders where Eastie got to, he's in the waiting room.

If we don't concede another before HT or just after it, I'm confident we can get something here.

Gueye, Westwood and Sanchez on the pitch is never going to work. They all do the same thing.
Not sure why TS has not tried Veretout in a midfield three

We need to be closing down faster, higher up the pitch and the midfield needs to stop occupying the same 10 square yards of space and start fucking moving. there's nobody running between the midfield and front to link anything.

The premiership calls for an experienced manager.

Like when Pellegrini won the league with Man City? Or when Laudrup won the League Cup with Swansea?

Stoke winning.  Table will probably not make pretty reading at 4:45.

See that play from Gana? That's the kind of quality we do actually have in this team, and credit to Sherwood (among others) for signing them. It's just that, like the last one, the manager has absolutely no idea what to do with real players on the actual football pitch.

Veretout is defensively-minded too. Gueye needs to be ahead of the other two, not sitting on the edge of his own box all the time.

Stoke winning. What price on Newcastle beating Chelsea? We are going to be bottom before long.

THIS !!!...500 gazillion times.

No, it calls for a good manager. Garry Monk has shown if you are smart you can succeed.

Seems Tim is sinking into the play deep damage limitation mode that Lambert sunk into. It was refreshing last season with the front-foot attacking approach.

Sigh.   I'm not entirely sure I can see where the next win is coming from to be honest.  We're dire, and it's starting to become clear that Sherwood is a chancer out of his depth.

Yup.

As per our arguments in the past, I'm not usually one for judging a manager early, but this one is different. He's an absolute chancer.

I'm just heartily sick of being utterly shit and my patience has been entirely extinguished.

It does grind you down doesn't it? It's like being stuck in a Groundhog Day Saw mash-up.
