I think we will be watching him in the champions league inside 3 seasons

I'd like to think so but I can't see any reason to believe he'll ever get anywhere near the CL personally

In fact, from what we've seen so far i'd wager he's more likely to hop around the mid table clubs of Europe until eternity

He is 19. Too early to write off his career. He might improve you know.

What comes first, confirmed relegation or Traore's next first team appearance?

Amazing - Garde was confident he'd be fit for the FA Cup tie this Saturday as it was diagnosed as a "minor" knock! Great medics at the club!

I know that but based on his career so far and what we've seen what's more likely ?

I do think people get a bit carried away

I'd be interested in peoples thoughts on his suitability for the Championship - should we join it.
Do you think they might send us straight down to League 1?

Something behind the scenes hasn't been right at our club since O Neill fecked off. Our "luck" with injuries since 2010 has been appalling. Year on year our squad seems to get decimated. Now granted we don't help ourselves sometimes when we sign players like Vlaar, and someone like Gardner is genuinely cursed it seems, but it's all the niggles, and then we have to account for that fact that our squads have persistently looked like a bunch of wheezing chronic asthma sufferers in comparison to most of the other squads in the Premiership. Far more often than not our opponents last the distance better than we do, be it on a game by game basis, or during the course of a season. Everyone gets injuries but I think we've probably suffered as much as anybody. We must be top 5. A few clubs (Arsenal) could give us a run for our money. However when you account for the combination of injury record, and stamina (or lack thereof) we're unquestionably the worst. We die at 60 minutes. Certain individuals persistently, but as a unit too we just run out of steam (partly because we're shambolically organised and piss poorly managed so players seem to do more aimless, headless chicken running than necessary).

I think our whole medical and fitness section needs turfing out and starting again from scratch. It's not good enough. There's absolutely no excuse at this level.

As for Traore, it's come to something that many of us (and I've got carried away at times too) have pinned so many hopes on a 19 year old who, whilst undoubtedly talented is also one of the rawest players we've ever had here. I mean some players are just absolute shit and always will be and you know that but as far as a rough diamond type goes, Adama is right up there with a young Gabbaldinho.
He's not going to save us and he's certainly not going to lead us back to the Premiership next season (if he's still here). He's a hell of a long way off I think. That said if we can get consistent players around him, he can flourish in patches enough to be something of a shining light.

He reminds me of that kid that was at QPR a while back.  Can't remember his name - total loose cannon but about as naturally gifted as it gets.  He pretty much got QPR back up if I recall.

He would be a class apart form anything in Division 2, so we should keep him.

I don't understand this belief that a certain players may or may not be suited to the Championship, isn't it purely how good/hungry they are compared to the other players?  Is the football that different to elsewhere?

Agree on the fitness point.  Even under O'Neill we were prone to conceding late goals and that has just continued to the present day.  As you say, you can see the team visibly tire two thirds of the way into the game and that's when the stupid mistakes and fouls start happening.  As you say, there is no excuse for that to be the case at a top flight club.

I agree.  Especially one which doesn't play in Europe and hasn't for the most part, had long cup runs.

He wrote that in the third person? Both Tim and TV like that.
