I like him but for me he holds onto the ball for far too long. Also he isn't keen on tracking back after he loses it.

That's probably why i'd play him through the middle if anywhere. That way, he wouldn't leave any full back exposed. He's got the pace and skill to possibly pull it off.

I think with some players you need to accept that, and also that is why you play two holders like Sanchez and Gana. I'd be happy to play Traore and let him do his thing. He's one of the only players we have who can raise the pulse above that of a corpse in the morgue. He will frustrate, but then at the same time he created more havoc in their backline than anyone else did all game.
We can only really afford one player who doesn't track back, so it's a case of Traore or Grealish in the starting 11. Right now Traore gets my vote.

I'd keep him on the right and just tell Hutton not to cross the half way line unless necessary. Hutton is having to cover far too much ground and he's getting on a bit now.
Troare also looks better on the right than he did when he switched to the left. Not sure why that switch was made as he'd had the beating of their left back.

The skill and pace he has is something else.

He seems to easily beat the first man, why not play him up front!

Yeah he could be our Walcott I think we have nothing to lose by playing him more centrally

I agree with the posters above. He has power and skill. Play him upfront with Ayew. Richards at right back and Sinclair just behind the two main strikers. Absolutely anything is worth a go before the window opens again.

What he has shown is very exciting, but he's nowhere near the finished article. He needs some proper coaching, hopefully Garde and his staff can provide that.

According to the Daily Mirror, Barcalona have no buy back clause

Definately

First time I have really seen him was saturday and that explosive pace through the middle would hurt a lot of teams

i would play a rigid 442 with the full backs stopping at the halfway line, him and ayew up front

I said exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago.  I'd definitely play him upfront with Ayew. He can hold the ball up, has pace and power and from what we saw against Notts County - he has the ability to finish.

I'm not sure he's actually a footballer.

There is absolutely no doubt that he has an incredible physique, has amazing pace and ball control and skills to die for.
But, that doesn't make you a footballer.

He can't/doesn't really pass (yes, I know he made one pass Hutton on Saturday).
Does he read the game though? Is he a team player?

I think he is more like one of those amazing ball jugglers, who can do everything with a ball, but not actually 'play the game'.

That's said, I agree with others, play him up front with Ayew and let him run riot.
It can't make things any worse than they are now.

Exciting when facing up against a defender or two but a liability in other situations. I've said this before but he looks like one of those players that is completely uncoachable, you've just got to let him do his thing.

He actually seemed to hinder our attacking efforts as other players didn't move out of their area to make space or receive the ball as they didn't think he was going to pass to them, lose it, and leave us exposed. I was watching him stand disinterested on the left touchline when he should have been awaiting the cross from the right at the back post.

In all I can see both why he should be playing and exactly why he hasn't been.

I think he's a young player with a hell of a lot of talent, who should be given the chance to see how coaching impacts him.

Erm, why the praise? He never looked like passing to another team mate. He runs in to blind alleys and gets crowded out by the opposition because they know he won't release the ball.

He would be brilliant at Wembley singles but he is no team player.
