The added bonus of that goal  was that Richards  was thundering in unmarked had the first header been missed.

Thought Sherwood got his tactics spot on. See them out for 30 mins (they were always gonna come straight at us full pelt) and then get at them a bit more second half.

Although it worked, I thought it was risky given we're effectively bedding in a new side ourselves and it almost backfired with those chances late in the first half.  If we were to try something similar in a few months once our new signings are settled I think we'll look much more comfortable playing that way.

Bit late  ::) with this, and nothing against Eddie Howe but, to me, he looks like a Thunderbird extra

And his comment about our goal being 'lower league', well he'd know.

I know what you're saying, but with a new team like we'd got, any set up would be a risk, and a less expansive game without committing too many men forwards is pretty much safety first.

God knows we've seen enough of it over the last 7-8 seasons to make you want to commit murder at the words "good counter attacking side."

Did anyone see the fan go arse over tit during the Gestede goal celebrations?

YouTube link

 ;D ;D ;D

There was also a pissed up bloke who kept trying to wander onto the pitch in the first half. I thought the stewards dealt with it very well. They just eased him back into the stands
There's a vine on Twitter of this. If I knew how to id upload it,

I've always thought he looks like a relative of Craig and Gary.

I love the way he struggles to lift his face from the turf and nobody is paying a blind bit if notice.
