Keep it going Damo,  a richer much more fulfilling life awaits when you have the courage to face up to your addiction as you have. Best advice I got was 'people and places', move in different circles to avoid temptation. Top man for getting this far, keep it up.

I'm sorry FS, I can't see anything but a Chelsea win this weekend. All the circumstances point to it. Villa on the slide, chelsea on the slide and needing to win at all cost and playing at home. The worst thing is, I can see it being a fairly tight match and them getting the benefit of the officials' benevolence. Either that or we'll get well and truly slayed. Whatever happens can't see anything from this game for us.

I apologise for the defeatism but I see this match as a damage limitation exercise.  We can't afford to ship another eight goals as this will be crucial at the end of this season.  I'm using the eight goals as an example, I'm not suggesting we will concede that amount.  I will be absolutely delighted if we manage to obtain a positive result.

If someone offered me a 0-2 defeat on Saturday, I'd have to consider it in terms of I can see it being a whole lot worse in reality.
I really fear for us this weekend.

I don't fear for us but in the long term is 3-0 better than 3-2?

I doubt it if this twat and his mate Tim give a fuck about us. They know that they will walk away with millions no matter how shit a job they do so they are probably having a nice dinner at some Michelin garlanded establishment in london tonight at our expense laughing their socks off.

Wilkins is reported as saying (in yesterdays E&S) "the lads are working so hard in training its embarrassing half the time". What a stupid thing to say. Why is it embarrassing?  It is what all professionals are supposed to do for their pots of gold.

When, hopefully, Fox gets rid of this current manager in the near future he can take Wilkins back down south with him.

Tim is at risk of ending his managerial career here so he will be bothered but Wilkins won't give a hoot. He's more interested in days out at his old clubs and being interviewed on talk sport

Life is a wonderful mixture of happiness, sadness, stress and boredom. Any true alcoholic will embrace each of these with equal relish as an ideal excuse to get pissed. Although finding out a doctor told your wife and your father that if you keep vomiting blood you won't make it through the night and then being told your alcoholism has caused enough nerve damage in your legs to make it unlikely you will walk again tends to focus the mind. It took me from Christmas to Easter to learn how to walk again. If Ray Wilkins does have a problem (which I wasn't aware of before he joined us) I wish him all the luck in the world.

It's inevitable there'll be a lot of over dramatic  'I'm more outraged than you' type posts on a football fans' site. Then I read Damo's post. Good luck Damo.

What's embarrassing Butch is 4 pts from 9 games. What's embarrassing is a genuine grand English club being belittled and talked down so much that finishing with under 40 pts is acceptable as long as we are still in the league for our gravy train money the next season. What's embarrassing is losing for the 8th time in 10 games whilst you're on a jolly, hugging the crowd and winking at your wanker mates.

You're fucking clueless you fester, feck off with nice but dim.
