Before we get carried away with the Boggies being able to spot a dud let's remember they signed Rondon.

Brown Ideye was much worse.

Remember that sitter he missed in the cup?

Just wish some journo would ask Bruce about Micah to get some clarification!
It seems like the one (two with McCormack)  topic that nobody can mention!

He was asked about Richards last season and actually said he'd be in the team if he could ever get fit!

Most players are fine, but you should be able to spot the duds.  And Dave, he's not like that, and anyway you cant really deny he's right about Lescott.

Given that Lescott played more than thirty games for us in his first season then I can.

I could have told you Lescott was gone on the evidence of the games we played against them the season before at Villa Park.

If Micah is in denial that his days as a pro are over then we need to give him a dose of reality and start rinsing the bejesus out of him. Play him in every game outside of the first team. U23s, friendlies everything until he's so broken the only option is to retire. He's banked over £10m for 26 games of which he's probably only finished 5/6. Otherwise it's another £2m+ paid out next season.

I like the sentiment Karl unfortunately I think if you put him on any pitch in any shirt you couldn’t physically make him move around , tackle or anything else so he’d just drag that team down too the toss pot .

I took that to mean he is seriously crocked, surprised he has not retired.
My bet is that he was uninsurable when we bought him.

I ageee about uninsurable when bought   Clubs should never take risks like that these days

As for the greedy git I would have him glass collecting in the social on match days plus he could help out selling them 50/50 tickets at half time

He would just say he was injured.

Has he played in any reserve or under 23 games recently? or this season? When was his last game?

We seem to be paying for him being a vanity signing of Tim Sherwood's. Presumably Micah passes over Tim 10% every month.

I think the whole point was if his contract was paid off it would have shown as a lump sum against FFP but continuing to pay him monthly that 3m or whatever it is is not one big hit.  I would suspect that if we get promoted he will be paid off fairly quickly.

He was given that contract by idiots and there is no way that he is going to walk away without his cash.

We knew Richards knees were fucked when we signed him. Unfortunately, he was foisted upon Sherwood. Not. He moaned like fuck about wanting him for his experience and in the end the board gave in.

Just to throw it out there. Is he the worst signing we’ve ever made? Got him on a free but for big wages and with the context of relegation, his lack of knees and general inability to play football, he’s got to be up there?

Yep, at least Charles N’Zogbia scored the occasional goal for us as did Gabby.
