Apparently we pulled the loan deal as we wanted a fee. I would have thought getting the twat out the club and off our wage bill for season would be extremely enticing.

I thought he'd be one of the easiest to get rid of. Had a decent rep, once considered a top player, and I didn't think we'd be too concerned about a fee as he was a free transfer.
