So, what now for the Scottish Cafu?

His contract extension looked strange at the time and even more so now
I think the New Bomb Squad awaits, he will have plenty of company.

I hope so but doubt it. Richards won't play at right-back. Hutton and the fine recent tradition of Villa right-backs i.e. Carlos Cuellar (when played out of position) holding his limp-wrist out when running, is set to continue.

Is there a definitive house view on whether it's Mike-ah or Meek-ah as I've heard both on the radio today and I feel I should be on top of this now he's our player.

Be interested to see what number he gets.
2 would indicate RB.
4 , 5 or 6 CB ?

Nathan "I've been playing an hour so it's time to go down injured" Baker already has number 2

What number did Micah have at MC?

I get the feeling that some people would rather we pay £15-20k a week for more Bennetts and Lowtons. Get over it! £65k a week is the going rate if you want to up the class of your squad. Ffs Rooney is on £250k a week!

So everyone above us will be paying higher wages than us then..

A real love fest. I'm also surprised a club higher up didn't nab him.

Agree with this. What do people want? Proven premier league player looking to get back on track, attainable international aspirations, coming from cit£h; 65k seems a relative snip.
