Is there anything you couldn't see the black side of?
Bad side not black side.

No, black side.

Chuffed to bits, big strong defender who has pace, will cause havoc at set pieces and corners.
Hopefully he can take okore under his wing and get him up to speed, could be a great partnership in the making.
Sends a nice little message out about our intentions to other possible targets.

Sinclair, Richards.

Good start.

Great signing if it happens.  Himself, Okore, Clarke and Vlaar maybe. We could have the makings of decent back line.

Pleasing to see that he played 17 games in Italy, so he got something of a run together out there.

Which is less than Vlaar played for us last season. And he did a full game in less than half of them. I'll be happy if we sign him but he does come with a pretty big question mark.

More expensive injury prone players.

Would I preferred him to go elsewhere see above. I'll give him some credit though I did sub the mcfc youtube channel because him and Lescott were just too funny together.

It could be a good signing if it happens, just hope he doesn't become another regular in the physio's room.

Well I think this is a great signing if it comes off.  Moreover if true we are beating other clubs to players and not based on wages seemingly.  This is a much needed boost.

God forbid we should ever pay the going rate for a player.

I have always liked him as a player - we can get as sniffy as we like but we finished 4th bottom and he (hopefully) wants to join us.

Wages (when the player is out of contract) are a red herring.
