Bollocks. We didn't turn up. They did. They were always gonna win if they did play to their best, but the fact we made it so easy was fucking annoying.

Club needs some seriously weeding. For the love of McGrath, please someone buy us. No more of this complete and utter quality-less dross.

Aside from Richardson, who gave his all, the rest were bobbins.

The worst part of all this? Having to listen to the media spunking themselves silly over bloody Arsenal who did the nation a favour by being their brilliant selves and beating the wastes of space, undeserving of oxygen that were put in front of them in place of the mighty Liverpool.

Must say though, Sanchez (Alexis of course) and Cazorla are exceptional players. We haven't got one player even fit to polish their bastard boots.

Come off it. We played against a team with world class players who were full of confidence. Our team has average players who on the day couldn't bridge the gulf. So to use the language above just isn't on IMO

On that basis, why bother to play any matches at all? All we wanted was to give it a go. We didn't and we were embarrassingly shit. The quality of our football was Division 4 standard.

Never expected a win, we've finished 17th this season and been in a relegation battle far too long. Arsenal are on a different planet compared to us in terms of club, players and finances.

Hoped for an upset but getting to the final was like winning it for me this season with all the crap we've put up with.

Gutted we didn't perform like we have done, players from midfield not running past Benteke, not shooting....just looking miffed in ideas.

Here's to next season and hope.

Oh and to the ones who will come on slagging off Sherwood, you know nothing about football.

As said in match thread I'd rather has lost to WBA then have to sit through this on national TV.

It was not surprising though we have been utter shit since we confirmed place in league thats not 11 goals conceded and 1 scored in the last 3 games.I like Sherwood but fucking hell he needs to get this sorted over pre-season.

I also feel for Grealish who tried his bollox off in that 2nd half and had no support in an attacking sense.Benteke looked isolated and as he he did under Lambert earlier in season , in fact the whole the team as a whole has moved backwards in last 2 weeks.

Special mention for N'zogbia who was utterly shit and how in the name of fuck he gets a game yet Gil can't make the bench is beyond me.

Very good team with excellent players beat better than average team with average manager.

We'll see how good Sherwood really is now.

So worse players have never beaten better players before?

Chelsea had world-class players and were full of confidence when Bradford turned up earlier in the season. As did Man City when Middlesbrough beat them.

If it were just a case of "which team has better players" why did we even bother sending a team today?

Benteke for Arsenal? Not a chance on todays display to be honest.

A 12-0 aggregate thrashing over the season would perhaps suggest that there is a rather large gulf in class between the two clubs.

Honestly we need a whole new back line. Someone with a bit of nous in midfield too.

Looks like my post above has been posted already.

Hope that pub of Arsenal fans wasn't too horrendous.

Not class. Maybe money, maybe players, but not class, never.

Realistically though the better players, costing £40 million to buy and are being paid £100,000 plus a week will 8-9 times out of 10 beat the team who don't have.

We just looked like lower league minnows on the big stage. Again. Disappointing and I worry about  next season now given the manner of the loss today.
