Never mind the bollocks, my banner would read:Bringing passion to the cup - £200kBringing kids to the final - £110Taking the cup home - PRICELESS!
I think the problem is they've tried too hard to be different and 'original'. So many will dislike it for different reasons, and a lot won't even get the reference. More often than the most effective things are the simple and basic. The mosaic at the semi, £ protest, We're Not Fickle, Proud History scarves, even the 19th minute, all were ultimately very simple things that worked really well at the time. As an example, a flag with the lion's head we see on the screen now and "Fight Like Lions" on it would, for me at least, be a lot more effective, it's all about us and it's not going to have very many hating it. Or even another mosaic with the same thing on. I just don't see how that "Never Mind" flag is inspiring to fans or players.
We'd like to thank everybody who made the effort and donated, China has promised to get it sent out on time.Due to a strong reaction we modified the flag.Good luck at Wembley everybody!
