"Sterling’s relationship with the Liverpool has deteriorated since giving an unauthorised interview to the BBC in which he insisted he was not a “money-grabber”.

From the Standard online today. They've seen the banner.

That tickled me no end.

It's not even original. Here's St Pauli's version, which they've had for years:

http://fanshop.kicker.de/fc-st-pauli-t-shirt-never-mind.html

They managed to get the grammar right, though, and they're German.

Oh dear. That just makes the the Aston Villa banner completely and utterly embarrassing.

We'd like to thank everybody who made the effort and donated, China has promised to get it sent out on time.
Due to a strong reaction we modified the flag.

Good luck at Wembley everybody!

Excellent, where do I donate?

what do you want to donate?

Around £3,000 to send to China, and a kidney for good measure.

Can't we just have a 'Norman Bites Yer Leg' bedsheet? It would be less embarrassing than that pile of crap.

Sometimes simple is the best. This is still my all time favourite Villa banner; Wembley 75:

It's the the nuts.

Love the Villa In Space one.

I will be throwing cans at my TV screen if I see that fucking flag containing "Arsenal" and "the Aston Villa".

I applaud the idea but it should have been a small bed sheet draped over  the railings.

Woeful.

Never mind the bollocks, my banner would read:

Bringing passion to the cup - £200k
Bringing kids to the final - £110
Taking the cup home - PRICELESS!

That is fantastic.

I still have my dad's silk scarf from the 1975 LC final. May need more than me wearing one round my wrist to create a full comeback though.

If you don't all wear one on Sunday in support of Tim, then you all like willys. Or something like that.

A couple of strange things in that wonderful photo-  firstly, 3 rows above the Villa in Space photo is a man with a very large head, much larger than those around him. Secondly, about three fans to the left of him as you look, just under the sky blue flag, is a very sinister looking man who looks like he is in the wrong place.

Also, the gent nearest the top left-hand corner of the Villa In Space box is wearing some kind of Tyrolean hunting hat. I wonder when the Tyrolean hunting hat will make its return in the modern game.

We could ask everyone to share on Twitter and Facebook and stuff and organise a mass Tyrolean hunting hat celebration day to show our support for Tim?
