As I mentioned on another thread I'm always baffled when Murphy is accused of hating Villa or supposedly being happy when we lose, that's a massive load of bollocks. Over the years I've heard him say many complimentary things about Villa, I think people only hear what they want to hear sometimes.

Well he is quite welcome at Villa Park,I think. Not at Leicester, however, where he has been ostracised!

Boom Boom!

I agree, he was the one sticking his neck out and having a go at Lambert while the local press said nowt.

Just loving watching us atm, what a brilliant third goal that was, Bacuna's pass and Cleverley's finish, probably my favourite goal this season.

How many goals have the magic triangle of Grealish-Delph-Benteke created and scored in the last month?

Have no worries, 4-6 points are coming from West Ham and Burnley.

Goal 1

Cheers for the videos.

I didn't appreciate what an amazing ball it was from delph for the first. It couldn't have been any better.

Bacuna is quite the threat going forward isn't he. If he sorted his defensive side out he'd be worth a fair few quid.

And a super header. No chance for Howard

The second Delph hit the cross I knew we were scoring. Although I only managed a "yes" to Leeg before it had even reached The Beast.

14 goals in our last 7 league games. Compared to the 12 in 25 under Mr Negative. it really is scary how much he was holding these players back.

CLATTENBURG AWFUL.

The only Geordie doing anything to try and keep the Toon out of the bottom 3 - a penalty softer than the new Princess' backside, could not find his card to book some cynical Everton fouls, his eyes were full of tears in added time he missed the blatant foul on Given, then tried to add some more time to let them try for a third.

There seems to be a brilliant team spirit around the place as well.  Look at the way everybody celebrates the goals, nobody is left out and after Cleverley's goal, everybody seemed to be looking for where Bacuna was, after what was quite possibly the pass of the season.

Anyone know if there is a Game of the Day on Sky tonight?

Yes, we're it.

Thanks OCD.

To all the youngers out there, as I said to my son today, we're seeing something like the swashbuckling pirates that epitomised 70s Villa
Haven't been this excited for years.
No one, not even Battenberg , can spoil this moment. The brink of greatness beckons.

I thought Everton deserved nothing from the game today - no goals, let alone points. Their name players were largely terrible, and only Lukaku moved up a gear after half time. Both goals were a combination of gift and luck, and that was a 3-0 home win with a less star-struck ref.

Some of the play by Villa today was pure poetry. Fabian Delph is the best midfielder in the league.
