If we stay up, why should he go? I hope he will stay. Vlaar aswell.

I mean when he eventually does go. He was class today, a proper centre forwards performance.

Because staying in the Premier League shouldn't be the limit of a player of his quality's ambition.

I reckon that there are no more than two or three sides in the world that he wouldn't improve. It's a case of when, not if.

He's been phenomenal for the last few games. I hope he stays for at least a couple of years.

What a day - for many reasons - but the main one being I managed to get a ticket for my Mom - who loved every minute of the day.

And it kept her mind off her chemotherapy which starts tomorrow.

She is positive and she will beat it - but whatever happens , 5 members and 3 generations of my family have had a day together than no one can ever take away from us .

UTV - God bless x

Lovely to hear and good luck to your mum.

Ditto

Reading that has made my day.
what a day out! Hope your mum pulls through mate.

I've always believed being a Villa fan is being part of an extended family. Today is no different. All the best for your Mum, FFD.

My boys 6, 9, 10 had a day today they will never ever forget. They didn't fight, they were congratulated by 20+ scousers on the tube / services and they now for the the 1st time in their lives will have their backs patted on the school playground in the morning (with just slightly baggy eyes).  I feel proud cause all born in Lancashire these boys are all villa till they die  ;D

You will all be amused to hear Fox Sports over here used the Villa pitch invasion as part of their FA cup trailer to show how great a competition it is :)

Think I'm reading every match report published but thought this was pretty balanced from Henry Winter:

Wow! What a truly amazing and memorable day for Villa and everyone associated with the club! :)

I never felt nervous in the days prior to the game and there was an air of reassuring confidence from walking up Wembley Way at 10:30am this morning to the atmosphere in the Green Man and as the game panned out with Villa dominating play...not overly confident, just an overwhelming feeling that we are Villa and it felt "right".

The defending for their goal was very sloppy but I'm going to have to take part of the blame for going to the toilet during the game...I've never done that before and I promise not to do it again! Special thanks to Benteke for quickly correcting my mistake of having a toilet break!

We were great and unified both on and off pitch...from the banter and vocal support to the dominating display on the pitch. Apart from one stroppy stuck up bitch with her head up her own arse, the Liverpool fans were gracious and sporting in defeat after the game, but I barely heard a peep from the Liverpool fans during the game and can't even remember them singing YNWA...did they even sing it or did we just drown them out?

I don't have BT Sport, but would love to see the game in full and hear the biblical moment of support in the last few minutes. Any idea if the game will be shown again or available online anywhere?

As many have said on this thread, best wishes to FFD's mum.

I must have got some dust in my eyes at the end of the game...or was it tears of joy?! Thanks for the memories and bringing pride back to the club on this special Villa day to Tim Sherwood, the players and staff, all the awesome Villa fans...and the Holte Enders in the Sky. Thank you and good night! :)
