Green man is the best pub near Wembley Park tube station.
Heard some good feedback on this place today from a Luton fan following the JPT final

The nice thing about The Green Man is that it overlooks Wembley, so it is good for the whole 'We're going to Wembley' day out.

they also set up loads of marquees around the car park so that if it rains, you can still get shelter even if the pub is packed, or to put it another way - they have thought of every possible way to max out the number of people they can get in.

Their final thought for all the people they cannot squeeze into the actual building, is that they sell cans of Carling for about £4 each from various points all over the car park.

This description will either appeal to you or not. For me
(1) Can see Wembley
(2) can get beer
Does it for me - I am easily pleased.

£4 for a can of Carling? Does it come with a free ticket to the game for that price?

I remember the Bolton semi we were standing in the car park of a pub, chatting to a Bolton fan with his missus and two young kids, it went off between others on the far side and he turned to the pair of us and completely changed and gave it the 'come on then Villa', I said what about your family, and he said 'oh yeah, I forgot about them' and carried on chatting as though nothing had happened, we called him a ****** and turned our backs.

Why do you think it took us so long to sell our allocation? ;)

If i was paying 4 quid for a can of low quality lager, I'd expect to have a view of St Mark's Square or the the Amalfi coast line in front of me, not a football stadium.

Is there anywhere near the Green Man for food? I've been told the balti pies in Wembley are supposed to be pretty awesome (but expensive) but going to need something to soak up some of the day time drinking before making the way to Wembley.

On League Cup final day, people were openly taking drugs at the Green Man, smashing the outdoor picnic benches to pieces and as I walked down the hill from the pub (having not partaken in either of said activities), a whole batallion of police with long batons and vans were marching up the hill to sort it all out. Not for me I'm afraid, there's nothing nice about the Green Man at all

Did the Green Man for the Walsall JPT Final.  Ace atmosphere due to coach parking so they've a captive audience, but the beer is piss poor.  Marquees with temporary Fosters only pumps.

We took a walk back down Dagmar Avenue into the Blue Rooms.  Excellent beer, & an even better curry.  Recommended.

Good call.

Fosters is a big no no for me.
