I was swearing at the radio when Baker came on ahead of Okore but he proved me wrong - great heading performance.

What a massive 3 points - we can play the next couple with a lot less pressure now, which in turn may yield a point or two.

I take it Sanchez is out of the semi now?

Apart from Benteke who spent all afternoon pissing on Fazio and Dier, though Cleverley, Vlaar, Baker and Sanchez (until his sending off) were all very good.

Injury list is a concern, but who gives a shit about that for now.

Massive result - 6 gap between us and the trap door in a fixture many wouldn't have expected us to get anything from.

Interesting to see the players that have been getting stick stand up to justify their starting spots. Sanchez, Vlaar and Richardson all played very well.

Just hope we can patch everybody up for next week now.

Normal service resumed - we really should be beating these types of clubs week in, week out.  Well done Tim and the boys, on to the next match.

I haven't taken real drugs for decades, but from what I recall, that was better. Absolutely buzzing.

I honestly didn't think Spurs were much to worry about after taking a bit of notice of them (for the first time this season) last week v Burnley, and so it proved.

That will have tasted pretty sweet to Sherwood, and all credit to him. He deserves it based on the way the team played.

That was a life changing result for our club. I know Benteke had a wonderful first half but Ron Vlaar was totally magnificent in both halves.

Sanchez - what a dick!
Great result.
He played very well today, red card aside.

Normally I am a fan of Sanchez, but I thought he was all kinds of bad today

He's still relatively new to the league. And the pace gets to him sometimes. But for a player who cost 4/5 mm tops that's what you get in today's market.
For that money you should expect better. There's being a little off the pace, and there's being a country mile off the pace. Aside from a couple of months in the middle of the season, he's looked no better than Sylla. In fact I'd take the Sylla from the run in two years ago over Sanchez any day of the week.

It's laughable we could play someone as good as Spurs and win.

Who's laughing now??? Who's laughing now??? ;D

Well done players, manager and supporters - great scenes at the end

It feels like we can go to Wembley next week with some weight off our shoulders and just play a one-off game

Thanks lads...

Massive boost for the team now leading up to the semi with a bit of the pressure lifted.
