Sanchez - what a dick!
Great result.
He played very well today, red card aside.

Normally I am a fan of Sanchez, but I thought he was all kinds of bad today

still bloody stupid to do what he did, with the injury list growing and big games to play. And he gave the ball away too much for my liking.

4pts was what we wanted at least from the games this week and we got it. Even if it happened in the reverse order.

He's still relatively new to the league. And the pace gets to him sometimes. But for a player who cost 4/5 mm tops that's what you get in today's market.

Great first half performance, not so good in the 2nd half but given someone had a word with the ref at half time we were still the more likely to get another goal and they didn't create a good chance all game.

Been wanting to say this for a while but didn't want to jinx things too much, Kane is ridiculously overrated, he's scored a lot this year but I guarantee he'll retire with a 1 in 4/5 record at this level, let him take a touch in the box and he's a good finisher but if you get close to him and make him try to do something he's not good enough to create chances from nothing, unlike the beast at the other end who showed what a genuine world class striker looks like in this league.

Bentaleb is a dirty fucker who should have  been off.

West Brom 2-3 Leicester

Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks
Final Score
"The Leicester goal puts the cat among the pigeons. It's all to play for at the bottom. It's extraordinary. Also, Villa are putting in one of the best performances I've seen this season - it will be the result of the day, because it means so much."

Always nice to mash them spuds but we really needed the 3 points today and deserved them too.

For me that was our performance of the season. Given the injuries we had going into the game, and the injuries we picked up, and the fact we had half fit players carrying on til the end, that was an exceptional effort from the lads.
Everyone bar Sanchez played well I thought. I did think Sanchez was unfortunate to get that red, in as much as we should have had a freekick just before hand when Rose mullered two of our players, but it's the sort of stupid, 10 minutes late challenge Carlos makes all the time, and he got persistently caught on the ball.

Guzan- 7 Solid as a rock.
Bacuna- 7 Did well today. Caught a few times but generally solid, and he got forward well. Brilliant cross for the goal.
Vlaar- 10 Imperious. Can he stay fit for the last 5 games though?
Clark- 7 Gutted to see him go off. Thankfully it's one of the few positions we have cover in.
Rico- 7 Given the stick he's got, he had a good game. Shaky start but recovered well and lasted 90 minutes well. Kept Andtoss quiet.
Cleverley- 9 Brilliant display. Sign him up.
Sanchez- 4 Poor. Contentious reffing led to his red, but you play to the whistle, and it was a dumb challenge. Slow, lethargic and caught consistently.
Delph- 8 Good Captain display.
Gabby- 7 Dangerous.
Grealish- 6 Good on the ball, but today wasn't a game for a tip of the diamond player. He didn't get in the game as much. I'd have had him playing wider.
Benteke- 9 Superb.

Baker- 10. Pushed Vlaar close for MOTM.
Weimann- 5. Should have done better with that chance. In fairness to him he seemed to pick up an injury quickly, but played on till the end.
Cole- 6. Showed experience and composure.

Great display (almost) all round. I think this is the result that keeps us up. I think we've got more points to come, but to pull off a surprise result is always a great help.
