I know a Spurs fan who went to the quarter final and had a great time.

I don't think any particular group of fans are more obnoxious or deluded than any other. Every team has plenty of good fans and idiots.
Dad always said

We're Aston Villa, we hate no one, just love the Villa. That's what makes us special

Perhaps you can tell that to some of the yoofs who continue to want to defecate on, in the main, their city of origin

And sing about doing rude things to the Albion almost as much (got to admit I tend to join in though, you can't say them songs ain't catchy).

Totally unexpected and much needed 3 points.

TS is so motivational, we should have taken him on at Xmas, when it seems Lambert was asking to be sacked, and Lerner was trying to avoid a pay off.

All in the past, let's get away from the zone and sell up and be Aston Villa FC again.

I'm not suprised at this win.  Spurs are doing their seasonal routine of going flat once their CL hopes have faded and they are still very hit and miss.  I always felt that if we kept it tight or got the first goal then we had a chance of getting something.  Spurs were poor, but we played really well and justified the win.  Almost safe now!

That's what the noses say to me. I correct them that they're not singing about their city of origin, but a really crap "football club" that resides there. And I do the quotation marks as well, it really winds them up.

No doubt - but to an non West Midland outsider it may appear to the contrary.
