I don't think I've ever seen a side start the second half with 10 men because a player is still receiving treatment in the dressing room. Surely if he's not ready when the side goes out you sub him?

I don't know that I have seen a side look such a shambles as Sunderland today. On and off the pitch they looked a complete mess. I am quite confident we really wanted to step it up we could have comfortably grabbed 2 or 3 more today. Scoring a fifth would have crushing to them and they would have opened up them again. Fully expect Poyet to be fired tomorrow.

On BT Sport last night in their football chat show they were examining Man Ure's run in games.   One of the precious tosser pundits commented "the only bit of respite for LVG is the game against Aston Villa".   Don't hold your breath.

If we play like we did today, we'll beat them easily.

If Lambert was still manager I would 100% agree with you. Mind you if Lambert was still manager we'd have been knocked out of the cup and we'd be discussing our away trips to Barnsley and Ipswich right about now on the back of a defeat on Wearside.
