I feel like we're Dickie Attenborough popping up from that tunnel in The Great Escape. It's almost too easy...

Er.......you do know how that film ends though............................. ;)

On BT Sport last night in their football chat show they were examining Man Ure's run in games.   One of the precious tosser pundits commented "the only bit of respite for LVG is the game against Aston Villa".   Don't hold your breath.

Had a fantastic day here, and still here now!

Insane having to hold in the emotions in the home end as our boys ran riot! The Sunderland fans were, ahem, not happy around us.

My lad, despite plenty of warnings about keeping quiet, first attack we get, NZog cuts inside and he shouts Shooooot!!!! He was good as gold though and loved the experience of his first away game.

Villa fans, as always, loud and proud. We joined in a bit at the end as everyone around us had gone, there was literally no-one left!!

Yes, but Attenborough would probably have escaped if he had dumped the Scot earlier.

The thing that really surprised me was the fans leaving like that at half-time. We have seen terrible matches but don't recall half the crowd at VP being gone? Thought the Mackems were made of sterner stuff?
