Sunderland are precisely where we were at the end of the Hull game.

But with even fewer "cup finals" to turn it round.

Their next two are West Ham away then the BarCodes at home. I can't see them picking up anything there except a bad case of the shits. Lose to the Barcodes and they will sink completely.

The match commentator said in the second half"Aston Villa are painting their patterns on the canvas"

Bloody Hell!

That's when I knew I was dreaming.  Should be about to wake up soon I guess.

Don't they have a fairly decent record against Newcastle in recent times?

They do, won last three I think but they're so poor even Newcastle away from home will beat them. I think that game should be worth a watch as it may explode in complete and utter madness. Even more so if Roy Keane is their new manager.

Well I never! My beer and curry is going to taste good tonight.

I can't remember the last time I felt so positive about AVFC.

I have no hatred for Everton but a loss tomorrow would put them right in it.

I cant even remember what the MOTD theme tune sounds like after the lambert years.

It is incredible how that is the same players, that have served up such turgid football for so long. Gabby has gone from the most useless player in the squad, to actually looking like a premier league player again.

WOOHOO!! But, the BBC5Live Extra commentary was so biased it may as well have been the Sunderland official feed. And Man City are tainting things.

The pre-match confidence is funny to read and then it all completely goes to shit.

I feel like we're Dickie Attenborough popping up from that tunnel in The Great Escape. It's almost too easy...
