Love the new lion video on the big screens and accompanying low-level soundtrack.
Yes. It's superb
Can anyone vine it ?

I've requested a copy. Fingers crossed.

Really like the low level lion purring, as if stalking it's prey.

I'd love to see it with the lights dimmed and the eyes glowing.

On another subject and hopefully not to controversial but I do like the Adidas WBA kit design. A few years back I really loved both the Adidas Swansea home and away shirts. I'd like to see Adidas come up with a design for us.

Pearce was mentioning being at the game in 80/81 with that fantastic own goal by Batson in the 89th minute.

 Closet Villa fan?

Now that was a magnificent atmosphere as well.

Despite being firmly in the 'against' camp as far as pitch invasions go, I do clearly recall the BBC coverage of the League Cup semi final against Blackburn in 2010, which was also covered by the BBC. The pitch invasion that night was not roundly condemned in any shape or form. In fact, I'm certain that Alan Hansen commented about the "wonderful scenes of celebration" or something like that. The whole hype was started by those total cocks Pearce and Lawrenson. I despise them both.
Pearce is fucking dire.  London derby, Baggies change strip, Gardner Villa fan, Olsson 7 years service to villa.  Just some of the nonsense he spouted last night. God awful twat of a man.
What a complete and utter cock. So pleased to see my licence fee is funding the Manc/Cockney FUBAR media.

Actually quite like the siege mentality, can see a little bit of how Millwall feel.

Lion concept is inspired.   Can I suggest whenever the opposition has an animal emblem - fox, eagle, liver bird, throstle, canary, tiger, swan, bluebird, wolf, ram, stag etc its image should be a mini animation being swallowed by our lion. Chomp chomp, licks lips.

Some of the comments I've heard and read in the media about yesterday can be summed up thus: Losing their grip on reality.

The media were using this opportunity to subconsciously refer to the nightmares of Hillsborough and Heysel, and instill themselves into the general population. The repercussions will now be that Villa will start to be thought of along the same lines as Millwall, will kill off any notion of safe standing (that Villa have voiced support for) and influence any FA punishment the club gets in the next few weeks.

Now who's for another 5:30 kick off?

Pretty sure J Pearce was at uni in Birmingham and used to come to a fair few games.

He was a bit like a dappy uncle yesterday, he got most of the stuff wrong but his heart was in the right place and he seemed to be blowing a fair bit of smoke up our arse.

Until the end that is, when it was past his bedtime and he went a bit loopy.

Meaning?

I think it was said tongue firmly in cheek ;) meaning that despite being at the tail end of his career Shay played brilliantly and looks delighted to be a part of the action at the club. Solid pro.

That's ridiculous. The media - and some of our supporters - have been completely out of proportion, but to say the above comparisons are seriously being made is plain daft.
