            Given
Hutton Okore Clark Lowton
           Sanchez
Westwood Delph Gil
       Benteke   Sinclair

I'd go with that, Des, it's first and foremost a team not to lose but with enough attacking intent to score a couple providing the midfield support the attack. Expect the Bitters to kick lumps out of Gil.

Great thread. So far, over the top diatribe, smart alec retorts, the end of the world is nigh and an inexplicable mention of 030303.

Please everyone, man the fuck up.

2-1 win

Out of all the posts this has to be the best. Totally agree but I think a nervy 1-0 to the good guys.

I'd go with that too.

I expect the Bitters to kick lumps out of any Villa player who gets anywhere near the half way line, and to engage in a generous helping of provocation to get Benteke and Delph a card or two...it's the Pulis way!
I hope we rise to the occasion and show we're better than that.

Keep the Faith.
We'll win.

We are long overdue a penalty.

Our new tactic of occasionally attacking my help this happen.

We're almost definitely going to get a significantly lower turnout for this than the cup game which annoys me to no end, but either way we should get a good atmosphere and hopefully we'll see them off. It's on my Birthday so surely that means something?

Please Villa, Please.

My birthday too! :D

Well I hope that works out better than my 40th birthday.

4-0 to us. Law of averages is we'll twat someone this season, may as well be Tuesday. Even the last time we went down we did West Ham 4-0 at VP.

Bit cold in Tokyo than Nik fingers not working properly?

Haha. Yes mate. I've been hoping for Villa to warm them up...

How are you Aftab?
How am I? Family and  work fantastic Villa miserable as hell like the rest of us. I have not lived through a relegation season ever as in 1987 I was in Japan and communications not being as they are missed the misery however this is new for me as we look doomed! I guess due to age it will be your first one as well.
Flying to Seoul tomorrow  so will be missing this and the cup games. Hoping to catch it in a bar or hotel.

Good to hear mate. Yes, I'm only 32,so relegation hasn't been experienced as an adult. It has as a child, but at that age, I was more interested in Lego.

As for Seoul, enjoy. Try 'Hollywood Bar and Grill' close to Itaewon station. It was always my local for Villa games. Even if it's not advertised as showing, a word with the bar staff will have them finding a stream for you. The cup game should certainly be on. Enjoy Seoul mate and let's hope for a bit of luck with both games.
