So in that respect I feel sorry for him. Fuck him. Anyone who very publicly throws his colleagues and team under the bus shouldn't get any sympathy at all. Well if he is telling the truth and the players he signed weren't his choices I've got sympathy for him. Mind you if he was that offended by it he should have made a point resigned over it.

Quote from: brian green on October 25, 2015, 07:04:48 PMI wish him well but I have no sympathy for him at all. He brought the entire thing upon himself and we are in a position of having 28 games to repair the damage he has done.I think that is quite short sighted, he is part of the problem . But, the problems are much bigger at villa.

Sorry sill I don't agree. The club is fine, the club is strong, the club is solvent. If you think having an absent American billionaire owner somehow degrades us, I remember when our owner had a fish stall in the Bull Ring. It is part of the history and the folk lore of football to have barmy owners and fans like you sill and my late saintly mother to get all steamed up about it.The problem is management and coaching. That has to be addressed and appears to be being addressed as a matter of urgency.

The club is run so poorly and the appointments made such as Sherwood should never have happened in the 1st place
Just found out the news, Goodbye Tim.Sherwood’s League record as manager:P23 W6 D2 L15 F28 A40 Pts20 = 0.87pts per gameHow Sherwood compares:

But, the problems are much bigger at villa.I don't think it's short-sighted at all. We all know there are some issues behind the scenes, but Sherwood had plenty of backing, had money to spend, brought in his own people, and he's still left us in a right old hole. Not only that but he's mouthed off left, right and centre to cover his own ineptitude. Nothing was his fault, and I await the further avalanche of sob stories which will no doubt spew from his runaway cakehole to try and salvage his reputation. You watch, if we survive this season he'll be claiming credit for having brought these players together. He's exactly that kind of disingenuous, self-serving guy. Any half decent manager would have made a much better fist of such a fantastic opportunity. Like Brian, I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.
