I don't usually as my posts reflect. Seriously though nearly 50000 posts, don't you have anything more productive to do?

Yes, I've got lots of things I do, not that it's any of your business.

Don't you have anything better to do than coming on here, telling people they're wankers, and asking whether they have anything more productive to do?

Sherwood had an instant affect at Spurs when he took over from AVB. Let's hope he can do the same for Villa over the next 3 months and keep us up.

Can we nail this lie / misconception once and for all

He didn't turn around a failing Spurs team.

He took a squad that was worth several hundred million pounds, full of players still getting to know each other, and kept them precisely where he found them.

AVB

P 16
W 8
D 3
L 5
G 15
A 21
PTS 27

Sherwood

P 22
W 13
D 3
L 6
G 40
A 30
PTS 42

Take out the group game Europa guff and looking at league results only I would say Sherwood definitely had a better record and positive impact on Spurs than AVB did. More wins, more goals, better loss ratio, higher points ratio. I'd say it's unfair to overlook all that.

From when Sherwood took charge until the end of the season these were the amount of points picked up by their ''rivals''

Man City 54
Liverpool 51
Chelsea 49
Arsenal 44
Spurs 42
Everton 41
Man Utd 39

I think he did a decent job at spurs and certainly better than AVB did even though they eventually only moved up 1 extra place.
OK, my memory playing tricks, probably combined with thinking he's a gobshite (but now he's our gobshite I'll be hoping he rams my words back down my throat)

I remembered them just bumbling around in 5th - 7th all season.

The scarf/jumper/coat combo is a massive improvement on the gilet abomination.

I'll say this much, he genuinely looks happy to be here as opposed to Lambert by end looking like he's been constipated for a month.

It is a wonderfully applied scarf. I have never had a scarf look so tidy and dare I say elegant around my neck. I wonder if it comes like that and you just pull it over your head. Lovely smile and wonderful teeth too.

He has a house boy that puts his scarf on for him.

Tell him how much you know about coffee paulie. Tell him how good you are on Playstation. Tell him how you thought about reading that book that was in foreign the other week. That'll learn him.

Seriously bobo, depressing and poisonous? H&V cheers me up and at best has me crying with laughter. The trick is to try to avoid the serious stuff about football. Admittedly that is f***ing depressing.  ;)

It could be worse..We could be in Leicester ' s position..If he can keep us up then I will be grateful. If he gets us playing more entertaining football next season I will be even more grateful.

He got me with his celebration of the second goal. I'm fickle as fuck, me.

And I'd like to add that emotionally I'm at that point in Rocky II when the distractions are behind us, Adrian and baby are well, and she tells him to "win", the bell tolls and the serious music and training montage begins.

I did enjoy the rapid-fire air-punches. Then again, I like it when any manager of ours celebrates. Lambert always looked like a puppy receiving an unexpected treat.
