He's here so I am sure the majority will back him once he gets started. He seems an arrogant so and so but many of the top managers are.
At least his press conferences will be interesting and he seems to have the london press on his side so maybe we will get a bit more decent publicity.
On the negative side he's got only slightly more management experience than I have.

Whatever happens I doubt it'll be dull.

Don't worry that moment will come when we visit Ewood Park next season. 😉

Do you think he will have Barry taking penalties again?

Any news on a potential coaching staff? We desperately need to hire a proper coaching staff.

Don't go there! Then we'll know how bad we have got.

No chance anyway, we'll win today and the next 3 matches. Happy days...I hope!

I was on a plane/train/boat most of the day yesterday and didn't find out the news until I went in the pub in the evening. My fellow drinkers were pissing themselves laughing when they saw my face, particularly after one of them said the words "three year contract".

Says it all, really.

Regarding some of the Spurs fans feelings about Sherwood, I wonder if him being a self confessed Arsenal fan have anything to do with what they think?

He looks like Jeremy Kyle's more world weary older brother.

I'm not sure why they would give a toss about it. It sounds a lot like when we used to hear "Villa fans only don't want McLeish because he came from Birmingham" to me.

If he had been a good manager I'm sure they would have been delighted about it, just as we would have been had McLeish been a good manager for us.

They never fully took to the man in a raincoat even after he won them a trophy.

If Sherwood wants to replicate his wide-open but sometimes fun 4-4-2 at Villa, we do have the players to give it a go. Gil and Sinclair could sort of be Eriksen and Lennon respectively (though without Eriksen, sadly), with Delph and Westwood/Sanchez in central midfield and Benteke up front with Weimann or Gabby. It'd be very very risky, but it might make things happen.

I agree Monty.

Not scoring goals is pretty risky too!
