There are plenty in that team who owe us, big time.   Time to repay our loyalty and patience.

Still, if we can't score a couple against a three man defence of Paul McShane, Alex Bruce and Michael Dawson we might as well give up now.

Reports say they've been a very good unit, Dave. No idea if it's true or was just limited to the Man City game.

9 conceded in the 4 before the Man City game, scoring 0. They can't have been that good. Let's take this game to them and if somehow we go 1-0 please don't shit our pants and defend the 12 yard box.

Since Liverpool away Gabby has 1 goal and zero assists. With Gil and Sinclair to finally put in crosses i'd prefer Benteke in. Prove me wrong Gabby, prove me wrong.
Yea, we seen a really poor executed header from Gabby on Saturday, would rather Benteke any day...he just needs supply.

I thought the cross was too high for him and he did well to even get a touch on it but let's judge him tonight when at least he should finally get some decent service.

Our defence have also conceded 9 in the last four games and we've been generally happy with them.

We looked a complete shambles against Arsenal.

Benteke will scare the shit out of them when he warms up, probably a good tactic tonight

Gabby and Weimann up front...that's a relief cos I was wondering where the goals would come from.

Hull have conceded 2 headed goals all season (out of 34). Maybe Mr Clueless is on to something.

Come on Lambert, earn your wages for once.   Motivate them.   This is the biggest Villa game since Hull last year.

If we don't create chances today we never will. That's the best he can do out of what he's got.

Evening all. Seatbelt is fastened. Hat is being held onto. Is there any legit radio commentary accessible outside of the midlands (i.e. without ludicrous internet broadcast restrictions)?

Regardless of the selection, I'm just happy to see two centre backs, two fullbacks, two centre mids, two wingers and two strikers... Oh 442, I've missed you.
