However, I remember talking with a Leeds fan when they came to us and him saying that when they first got relegated they thought they'd bounce straight back up and by then it was something like their eighth season out of the top flight. As it so happens, we did got straight back up by the skin of our teeth, but how much fun would I have been having in the second or third or fourth or fifth season down? Not much. And there in lies the rub. Look at the clubs in the Championship. There is no guarantee we'd go straight back up. There's no guaranteeBut there has never been a club as big as Villa who went down and stayed down in the modern era, Leeds had worse problems than ourselves as they were near on bankrupt, you really can't compare there special circumstances to oursWe would come back pretty quickly imo

An Eighties disco might be a good laugh once in a while but not every week.

For the club it would be a nightmare and in the long term I'll regret saying this but the question is would it be more fun, for me yes, I rarely go to home games, I'm hoping as my son gets older to change that, and away games have always been more fun but even those are getting me down now. The occasion before and after is always a buzz but the games have been getting worse for the last 4/5 years. I'm sick of expecting to lose every game, if there was, at least, the possibility of a win I'd be happy and that is not going to be happening anytime soon, especially with the club being run like it is.For me its about the day out and the possibility of being happy, half of that isn't happening at the moment and I can't see when that'll change. I'll always go and watch them but if this is whats its going to be like every year in the premiership I'd rather try something different.
Some people go Flares or Reflex every week and don't complain
It might be fun the first year, its what happens after that.
