Just overtook the team coach on M1. They are all relaxed watching the movies on their individual screens no doubt Lambert gave them an excellent talk before they set off!

was it groundhog day they were watching?

He's crying out for a pay off isn't he. And the board won't give it him.
It's a desperate situation that has only 1 outcome .
11 goals and it's February ! Truly shocking.

What's the betting we won't be hearing much PR shit this week like we did after last week's rare win.

Chico and I were chatting to an Arsenal fan  in the pub after the game and he claimed to have a Tamworth mate who is friends with Sid. Allegedly, according to Sid, the players are demoralised and not playing for Lambert but looking for a contract elsewhere.

What most surprised me about this was that an Arsenal fan could  be bothered to listen to Villa rumours.

I think you are right sil.   He is daring them to sack him.   He knows he won the jackpot with that four year contract and he is determined to screw as much out of the club as he can.   because it was their idea to give him the four year contract in the first place they have to try to tough it out otherwise their ineffable stupidity is exposed.   It is like watching a Mexican stand off between protagonists armed with toy guns.

Which obviously explains Delph jumping ship at the first opportunity.

Somebody obviously didn't tell Delph about this plan. He'll be bloody livid when he finds out.

It's a question of pride now for me, and whether Lerner actually has any. Today was woeful. Embarrassing. We are setting all sorts of unwanted records, hence seeking pride from our owner.

The possession thing is a load of crap. Keeping the ball in the first two thirds of the pitch is pointless if you can't do more in the final third. The players clearly are not playing for the Manager. Change really does appear to be the only option.

Interesting point made by a Talk Sport caller. Who exactly are the people who sit next to Paul Lambert?

The worst thing about today's result? It wasn't really that much of a surprise.

And who do these players that currently look a sack of shit expect they are going to get a contract from?

I've used up all of my brownie points by staying out and having a few pints at my local post game. Come home, the kids are in bed and the missus opens the door after calling her mobile, the landline, and knocking the door and then the letterbox. She opens the door and before I can blame mates she's fucked off to bed. I'm on all manner of fucking shit. Cheers Lambert you wanker. oh. and Okere and Sanchez were fucking shit. As was Clevereley but I expected that.
