Apologies for not reading the preceding 16 pages, but I thought our general play was okay. The sort of football which, against lesser opposition, would punish them. The reality is though, it is toothless football played in areas where we cannot hurt the opposition. I would definitely not abolish the change in style, however I would jettison the manager. Seriously: Bringing in BFR for the remaining 5 months.

Such a shame, really thought we'd turned a corner last week all the news out of bh was positive then this. All these shit records don't normally bother me but this one today about no villa team in history going six league games without a goal is shameful if correct.I haven't felt this low since Bradford, they won't sack him, he won't resign and no one gives a shit - his post match comments suggest he's also in denial.
Tomorrow all eyes will be on the transfer window. By Tuesday people will have calmed down a bit and will be saying "well it was Arsenal away." On Friday some will predict in the pre match thread that we'll get a result against Chelsea because of Mourinho's record against us. Then on Saturday night we'll all feel this fucking misery again. And he'll still be here.

the simple truth now is that this can't go on. Not because there are or might be three clubs even more awful than us and relegation might be avoided, but because Lambert can't go on publically humiliating and tarnishing the club any longer. We could be doing better, we should be doing better, even allowing for our reduced circumstances, but it's patently obvious he can't do any better, and each week he is allowed to stay, somehow the status of this great club is diminished a little bit further.
