The one thing about the Milwall thread is that some of the comments are exactly what people are still saying today.

It's quite amusing to see Delph and Vlaar getting slated though. Neither are good enough etc etc.

I recall Doncaster under DOL was outrage , now it's seems more acceptable to take these defeats due to conditioning I guess . Hardly anyone batted an eyelid re Millwall for example (other than CNZ lol) .

Strange, I can remember absolute meltdown on here.
Was there ? Possibly on the back of Bradford I guess . This was a bad week

Millwall Post-Match thread

Jesus, was Millwall really 2 years ago tomorrow? what an absolutely shit evening - the only positive I took from such an awful result was that it would spell the beginning of the end for that shit manager we had at the time...

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Been umming and aring about going to this one and i've come down on the side of stuff it! Call it a protest, call it apathy but I just dont fancy freezing my bollocks off watching us get tonked and not scoring when I don't have to (It'll be the second home game I will have missed since we did Bolton 4-1 but worringly I will have missed the last two games on the trot).  I've seen far too many games like than since TSM Mk1 took over and quite frankly i'd rather stay in the warm and keep my money.  This is the first time I can remember feeling like this since the days of Billy McNeill and it does not bode well for me renewing my season ticket. Factory of sadness indeed :(

This.

It's almost as if a massive, concerted campaign to get rid of Lambert had already entered its final phase!

38 pages for a post match thread , you just know that's not going to be a nice read!

I'm normally a combination of Mr Optimistic and Mr Positive, even I was well and truly fucked off!

Complete and utter fucking shit. Right now Villa can just fuck off.

I saw that and had a chuckle.

Bad news for those fans not able to go to the game, Fox Soccer Plus will be showing the game live. I hate Murdoch!

Why is it impressive that 4900 extra people want to jump on a bandwagon?

Yes, it's no different really to the half and half tourists who only turn up for Man U or Liverpool

Well that's more than their s t amount. It's over 25% of their normal home crowd. Can't imagine us taking 7 or 8000 to an away game ?

You need to imagine a bit harder. One example, FA cup game in the 90's, Liverpool away, had to queue overnight to get tickets.  Someone will correct me but I'm sure we sold more than 7 or 8000 and they wouldn't give us anymore. We could have sold double and in the end the attendance was only about 29000. I think we lost 1-0 to a Michael Thomas goal.

I bet they normally take 500 away from home on a good day. Whoopee they are taking over 5K for a glamour cup match while they are enjoying the best season in their history. They'll be bringing more than they've averaged at home for most of the last 20 years.

And it's over 50% of their normal support unless Dean Court has doubled its capacity without telling anyone.

And when they are singing about empty seats remember their record attendance is 28K, which will be about what we get Sunday.

What makes it hilarious? Isn't he just being fairly sensible?
