Benteke and Weimann up front.  Grealish and Bacuna on the flanks.  Gabby at the cinema/Fort shopping centre/anywhere but starting.

Didn't Port Vale bring 10,000 when it pissed down and we thrashed them. Stuart Gray wonder free kick? 6-0? or is my memory playing up

Seem to remember them having the whole of the Witton Road stand that day.

First game in 25 years I am missing out of choice. Can't bring myself to watch us get beat again by a second division team.

Again? We've lost to one second division side since MON left.

I recall Doncaster under DOL was outrage , now it's seems more acceptable to take these defeats due to conditioning I guess . Hardly anyone batted an eyelid re Millwall for example (other than CNZ lol) .

They had the Witton Lane, yeah. I watched it from the North Upper.

Strange, I can remember absolute meltdown on here.

I think there were a fair number of people on here who wanted Paul Lambert lynched after Milwall, myself included, especially coming straight after Bradford.

The majority have been massively pissed off about every cup defeat to lower league opposition. Doncaster pisses me off the most because we were so totally outplayed the entire game. At least with Bradford, in both games on another day we could have scored half a dozen, the 3-0 at Doncaster flattered us. Both the 3 and the 0, we were that bad. I don't think their keeper had a save to make all night.

Have been looking around and you can get nearly 6/4 about a villa win..not only do we have little confidence in us but also the betting public at large think we are there for the taking..well tickets for my daughter and myself have cost me £15 so I will be investing £15 on villa at the best price I can get..If for a penny..!!!
