He must think we have Carlos Alberto and Roberto Carlos and not Hutton and Cissokho back there. Dope. It improved once Gil came on because, apparently he is good at it. I have no doubt in the next game he'll go back to the same old shit and drop Gil to the bench.Going to have to try Richardson and Bacuna on the wings with Gil off Benteke.Bojan, Eriksen provided moments of quality that won their sides games today, we have nothing in midfield that remotely compares to those two even.

[I disagree with that, what we're doing with the fullbacks getting forward is ok so long as people offer them some support. In the spell in the 2ns half where we looked decent Weimann, Gil and Delph got a lot closer to the fullbacks when they were coming forward and we looked a lot more capable. What needs to change is the players need to be coached and encouraged to make runs and find angles for each other. The thing that pains me most watching us is seeing Cisskho get closed down by 2-3 players and the only person who seems concerned with helping him out a little is sanchez who's 20 yards back and in the middle, all whilst Gabby, Cleverley, etc wander around aimlessly not getting involved but not getting in the box either.QuoteLambert doesn't believe in width & is negative.

You can post tactics, formations and team selections on here until the cows come home.Regardless of what they are, just remember who is ACTUALLY doing it, and realise that what is put in here means absolutely jack shit.
At least when things started going crap for McLeish you had the awareness that it wasn't going to go on, and he would get the sack eventually. But, with Lambert we don't have that feeling. That's what gets to me the most - I honestly believe he'll keep his job. That's what frustrates me the most. I don't want to care any more, but I do. More fool me. Becuase Lerner doesn't give a fuck as long as we stay in the league and 30,000 people are paying. Sad times. If we keep flirting with relegation then it'll catch up with us. We'll turn into a Forest, Leeds and Sheff Wednesday. that's my uneducated, poorly written rant over. For now.
We are now getting close to the bottom three and Mr Lerner will start to panic very soon. As nobody wants to buy the club his only option is to get rid of the manager. He might do this, although it will cost him money, but he will have to rely on Tom Fox to provide any information on who might be available to take over. I wouldn't be sure Tom Fox has the knowledge to do this . I think there could be a chance that Sir Alex may be contacted and asked if he would take over until this season is over.Fergie might just say yes.
