Good move all round I think.  Good little player when he wanted to be but obviously doesn't have the right attitude to drop down a division.  Some money in too, hopefully added to whatever pot we have.

1.7m, but I'm not sure whether it's E's or £'s.

So they signed a player on loan, he only played 11 times, they got relegated but they agreed to sign him whatever? Has Lerner invested in a spanish club now?

Not sure it makes that big a difference anymore.

Good news if true. We should be in a much better position financially if we can clear all the deadwood off the books quickly.

Imagine it was one of those deals where they just wanted to defer the transfer fee for a year ..

£1.7 mil so about a 50% loss ....for us thats not too bad

Way Spainish DOF was talking they'll probably sell him on to another team as he seems allergic to playing in second tier leagues.

Depor are cash-strapped and he's barely featured. We'll do well to get anything like a million and a half for him.

And the game that was possibly a sliding doors moment for both clubs
