Some reports he's driven off from Villa Park this evening.
Well that will at least be 2 weeks wages saved.
Randy will be happy,

It's a managers job to decide who's in the team and they live and die by their decisions. It's a players job to do as much as he can to get in to the team and if he can't he leaves.

Gil has been here 5 minutes, we are in a relegation fight. The last thing I'd want is someone bringing even more distractions, everyone should be in it together, in the team or not, you have to fight for your place and not strop. If it is true and they've already had a run in I'd want him gone in the summer. We need team players.

Has there actually been any rumours or is this guess work based his lack of game time?

You're absolutely right aj2k77 but it must be pretty tough for him. He's a relatively young lad who's just moved to a different country having been sold the opportunity by one guy only to see everything change within a month and find himself completely ostracized.

He probably needs the same kind of arm around the shoulder Grealish has been given and based on performances to date he deserves it more than Grealish too.

If he's seen Grealish's performance so far he'll be even more annoyed!

If he's seen Grealish so far, he'll realise he won't be getting in the team anytime soon.

Behave. Give me one example of Grealish affecting the game. He had a couple of runs that came to nothing.  Great. He had even more chances at taking a corner and fluffed them all. It was his big chance and he blew it.

CNZ did more in 60 secs than Jack did in 60 minutes. Gil must be crying.

I think you must have been watching a different game.

Me too. He was getting into spaces between their defence and midfield and he had trickery to beat players with ease. They were happy when he went off because they didn't have answers to him. Taking him off for Cole was a mistake.

To not even have him as a potential impact sub ahead of Joe Cole is criminal.

Grealish did well first half. Struggled second half as did most.

The whole team struggled second half after their change of shape. Apparently it was Ramsay's coaches that suggested the change so Lord help us if he becomes our assistant manager at some point.

I'd rather have Gil on the bench then not, but if you are not in the team you fight for your place, you support your team mates and you earn your wage. Every footballer is out of favour some time.

The better ones do what they can to get back in favour. We need fighters not trouble makers.

He needs to get his head down and keep plugging away, everyone will get a chance. He's doing himself no favours if he's making scenes.

He was doing nothing much at a nothing club before he came here
He wasn't doing much there, you're right - but we signed him from one of the biggest clubs in European football.

Sherwood said in the Mail today Gil is training very well so I doubt his attitude is a problem.

Is it all rumours and bullshit then? I hope so, we need anyone who's capable in this run in.

But looked decent when he has played for us, save as Stoke

It looks to me like Sherwood sees Gil as a bit of a fancy foreigner. He wants Proper Football Men like Joe Cole or promising youngsters like Grealish who he can use to enhance his reputation as someone who brings youth through.

Forgive me for speculating, but I'm really annoyed by this. For too long, we've needed someone like Gil in our team, I just hope Sherwood realises he's making a mistake.
