He's a beautiful man. Our very own Isco. I expect a £12m bid from Valencia next week.

Hope his impact gives Lambert and Lerner the confidence to sign a couple more players of his ilk this month.

Just the sort of possitive wing play we've been missing all season.  One of the goals of the season without doubt.  But I echo sir Graham on the radio lets not expect too much too soon. 8)

The thing is it's correct in some ways not to get carried away, but you can see from his movement and vision he's a good player. Also ordinary players don't tend to score goals like that.

He was a class apart but also made two mistakes that could have cost us.

Noted those two slips too olaf.
But I can for give him if he scores a goal like that every game!

I only hope his presence gives a few of our underperforming players a bit of a boot up the backside and, more importantly, the manager more confidence to send the team out to be more up-tempo and direct in the final third. I think we'd score goals and win matches then.
Just a thought like.

It's also the knock-on effect of the players around him. It's no surprise that Weimann and Cleverley had better games today, because of the space that was freed up by the defensive attentions on Gil.

That goal is getting better every time I watch it
What a lift it gave all of us on and off the pitch

Ashley Young always used to love cutting in like that and shooting or crossing. If he does half as well for us as Young did we'll do just fine. Magnificent goal today.
