Deal could be off.  Typical Lerner by the sounds of it.

What do you mean by typical Lerner? And where have you read that the deal could be off?

There is an apparent hitch over agents fees and there will be no press conference today.

Hopefully he will still sign, but its not looking likely he will be available for the Liverpool game. I am sure Lambert can fill the creative gap though with plenty of defensive holding players.

where did you hear that? Maybe the hitch is Lambert getting the boot!

A Mirror journalist Brendan McLoughlin has Tweeted that there is an issue over agents fees, but the club is still hopeful that the deal will go through.

If its 50 50, then that to me means it could be off.

Reading between the lines, it seems we are reluctant  at the agents fee request.  We desperatly need to strengthen the squad, so why are we mucking about?

weird, you'd think that would all be agreed.

Can't be very confident if the PC has been cancelled 5hrs before its due to begin.

Transfers hit snags all the time, especially when buying from abroad. People were posting things like 'Typical Villa' when the Sanchez transfer took a little while longer than expected.

I really can't muster any enthusiasm for this deal while Lambert is still manager.
Right now, I couldn't  care less less whether this chap signs or not.

Villa's big fan Pat Murphy  ;) is on the BBC web site saying there's a prpblem over the agent's fee. Shouldn't the Villa's negotiators have agreed these out in advance, not at the last minute.

Does anyone at B6 know what they are doing?

Piss Up and Brewery come to mind.

Clampy it's a bit previous to tell all about a press conference for a player without actually having the deal done. As if a press conference for a bit part player for 3m wasn't small time enough already.

It's just another sign of how far our once great club has fallen.
