Big player news on the screens at 2.50 according to the OS.

going to be something like "Kozak is feeling better" or something meh rather than what they clearly want people to think - a signing or Delph signing a new deal.

BRIGADA 1874 open invite :

"As with the Leyton Orient game in the League Cup and the game against Blackpool in the FA Cup, Brigada 1874 will be moving to L7 for the FA Cup 4th round match against Bournemouth.

This gives the group a chance to stand together as a block and also for other supporters to come over and get involved. Thanks to those who joined us against Blackpool in the 3rd round.

In the last match in L7 against Blackpool, we had a block of 40-50 people who sang for 90 minutes and didn’t waver in their support of the team; this had a good impact on what was otherwise a pretty turgid atmosphere.

These matches give us a good example of how the group can grow given our own section in the ground and it’s good to see other fans wanting to get involved and throw their full backing behind the team. it also makes going to the game more much more enjoyable regardless of what is happening on the pitch.

Anyone wanting to move to L7 please book tickets on rows EE backwards on the left side of the block.

Brigada 1874"

The more the merrier !

You were superb against Blackpool.  Pity you couldn't generate that atmosphere every home game.

If we were to have our own section, in an area such as the front of L7 then we'd be that loud every game, the reality is that at present, due to seats being withheld from sale in L8 we are scattered across L8 with others unable to join us. Ideally we would like this situation resolved in time for the start of the 2015/16 season so we can really start to improve the atmosphere at Villa Park.

What a day, Goals and a cracking atmosphere in the holte from a measly 20,000 brave souls, and especially to the lads in L7, the BRIGADA 1874 certainly starting to help make a difference to the atmosphere !

Hats off to Brigada again.
Do you travel as a unit to away games ? How does Brigada arrange close seats for aways or is it impossible ?

I was a little behind them and they were an impressive presence until an unwelcome rendition of the Tracey Andrews song just before the end.

We don't really need them at away games to generate the atmosphere.

It won't be anything to do with them. It will be someone close by who sang it. Well that's what they said last time it was mentioned when it was clearly heard from where they were sat for a Next Gen game.

Couldn't help but compare the Bournemouth fans to our usual away following yesterday.

For a lower league club doing really well at present I thought they were pretty rubbish in the support they gave to their team. We tend to sing pretty much non-stop, esp early on.

But as I posted elsewhere, most of them had probably never been to an away game before, and the meedja had told them they were gonna win at The Villa.
Hahahahahahahahahaha!

A lot of the Bournemouth fans I saw wandering around outside pre-match looked like they'd never been to a game before. They were all wide eyed and inappropriately dressed for a football match.

What is the appropriate dress for a football match?

They were utter shite to be fair. I have seen them complaining about the problems of reserved seating, which probably tells you a lot about their usual away support.

Saw one guy - in his 40s? - dressed in complete fluorescent yellow goalkeeper's attire, including shorts and carrying gloves, but with a red and black hat on - on the Trinity Road, hovering between Aston Park and the Holte pub area. He appeared to be completely lost amid thousands of people going to the football match 50 yards away!
