Not sure what's worse - the game or the nonsense negativity on here. We have had a decent start to the season, lost to three teams guaranteed to be in top 4, and granted are playing poorly today.

Hardly the end of the world.

I don't know about playing the shit teams, but every year, the list of teams we can't compete with seems to get longer.

Come on Paulie, we're hardly playing the world's shittest teams at the moment are we? I don't even think our team looks bewlidered or lacking confidence as it has often in the last couple of years. We're better than we've been in the last couple of years too.
And yet still on the verge of another friggin defeat and another friggin shit record.

...against a team that's finished above for how many seasons in a row now?

5 in a row and 9 of the last 10.

I just find it mind bogglingly stupid that Randy thought Lambert didn't just deserve to keep his job, but deserved a new four year contract.

Either he's actually really, really stupid, or he honestly thinks he's doing a good enough job to get that new deal.

Staggering.

I don't think Lambert's ability had anything to do with it. Lerner just wanted the job filled.

I appreciate they're better than us, so were our last three opponents, but I don't think that means we can just shrug off what is currently 10-0 over 3 and a half games, and barely a shot on target in that time.

We just don't seem to have a go in too many matches. Everton are a better team than us, yes, but they've struggled a bit recently, haven't been scoring, and it's surely not unreasonable to think we might look at least competent against them?

It just seems like three and a bit years of making excuses for really poor football with next to no progress.

Cissokho really is poor in the final third. So many times in that good spell of posession he should have been able to put in a decent delivery

Okay, I give up. We're shit, the players are shit, the tactics are shit, the manager is shit, the passing is shit, the defending is shit and the attacking is shit. Nothing has improved ever.

The thing is, if we had a situation vacant at the moment, I think Moyes would come here and he'd improve us a lot. I think he's had a good break and recovered somewhat from Utd, and obviously, LVG's struggles will have helped him.

However I expect Randy to hold off till the bitter end. Particularly now as sacking Lambert would mean a payoff on a four year contract.

What are you drinking???

Maybe we could have had a go against those three teams rather than just writing the matches off?

Thing is, the second goal in this was a freak goal - stupid mistake from N'Zogbia and sloppy from Guzan. If that hadn't gone in we might have competed this half.

Nobody is asking you to give up. If you look, I said the defending has improved, but what about everything else?
