Don't think we've had a shot on target yet. Hutton was closest. What does that say?

Just being pedantic but Cleverley had a shot straight at Howard from about 25 yards

Ok, one shot on target. Still terrible. It sounds really quiet in the ground.

I don't know about playing the shit teams, but every year, the list of teams we can't compete with seems to get longer.

Well the 4 teams who have beaten us have been a fair bit better than us for years. Assuming we lose today.

Randy's gonna have to pull his finger out and pull the trigger if we lose against QPR. You can flirt with disaster year on year.

how many times have we said this

when playing a shite team and still lost
Tom Fox call now I'd say ??

is he a creative player

Come on Paulie, we're hardly playing the world's shittest teams at the moment are we? I don't even think our team looks bewlidered or lacking confidence as it has often in the last couple of years. We're better than we've been in the last couple of years too.

We still look entirely unable to pass the ball, though, that's the concern.

We defend slightly better - at least when we don't have to play Clark - but I genuinely can't see any other improvements. It just looks same old same old to me.

Everyone knows N'Zogbia plays mainly with his head down. That year when he looked quite decent at Wigan, he played almost as a striker at times. He wasn't playing from deep, he was there to get on the end of passes and drive into the box, commit a defender, score goals. He should be on the shoulder of the defender, not sitting on the halfway line.

The thing is, if we had a situation vacant at the moment, I think Moyes would come here and he'd improve us a lot. I think he's had a good break and recovered somewhat from Utd, and obviously, LVG's struggles will have helped him.

However I expect Randy to hold off till the bitter end. Particularly now as sacking Lambert would mean a payoff on a four year contract.

Sounds like we could do with taking Zog off.

Agree mate, it's shit. A couple of games ago we'd accrued more points than we'd had attempts on target in all our games so far. Shocking

I just find it mind bogglingly stupid that Randy thought Lambert didn't just deserve to keep his job, but deserved a new four year contract.

Either he's actually really, really stupid, or he honestly thinks he's doing a good enough job to get that new deal.

Staggering.

Agreed. Another year maybe, MAYBE, just for some stability while selling the club.

Cross into the box there from about 30 yards out on the wing, Benteke the only Villa player in the box, surrounded by three Everton players. We've ran out of ideas going forward and when Everton get the ball they're winding down the clock, or letting us have the ball in places where they know we can't hurt them.

That was absolute garbage from Zog.
