Don't think we've had a shot on target yet. Hutton was closest. What does that say?

I don't think we need to worry too much.
We keep being told that we will be fine when we start playing the shit teams.

I said it on both games last season, and I'll say it again today. Gareth Barry is a whole stratosphere better than anything we've got in midfield. Class apart, even at 50 years of age or however old he is now.

Just being pedantic but Cleverley had a shot straight at Howard from about 25 yards

I don't know about playing the shit teams, but every year, the list of teams we can't compete with seems to get longer.

When it comes to our distribution it's like the morning after the Post Office Christmas party.

Randy's gonna have to pull his finger out and pull the trigger if we lose against QPR. You can flirt with disaster year on year.

how many times have we said this

when playing a shite team and still lost
Tom Fox call now I'd say ??

If we don't get something from the QPR game the stink of inevitable doom will begin hanging over the club. Particularly as we'd be due to gift Spurs their usual 3 points in the following game. The West Ham and Southampton games look ever more daunting too.

Apparently according to Gareth Farelly on villa radio our most dangerous player is Alan Hutton.Says it all really.

We probably lost out on him for the sake of 10 to 15k a week more which makes it even annoying.

Come on Paulie, we're hardly playing the world's shittest teams at the moment are we? I don't even think our team looks bewlidered or lacking confidence as it has often in the last couple of years. We're better than we've been in the last couple of years too.

I just find it mind bogglingly stupid that Randy thought Lambert didn't just deserve to keep his job, but deserved a new four year contract.

Either he's actually really, really stupid, or he honestly thinks he's doing a good enough job to get that new deal.

Staggering.
