Don't these injuries tend to repeat themselves also? Not sure if its because of the higher level of impact and intensity at the top of the game.

Not sure how a shoulder dislocation compares but with the knee it tears some ligaments and stretches others which make it looser and more likely to happen again.Gutted as I've been looking forward to seeing Delph against some weaker opposition.

I've never seen someone in more pain than he was that day. I still wince just thinking about it. He's never kicked a ball since.

My mate did the same a about 20 years ago playing football, then a few years back slipped in a nightclub and did the same knee again, never seen someone in so much pain.
It depends if he has damaged the muscles and tendons that usually hold the shoulder in place. Sometimes they can be a pig to repair.
