I remember being at Ewood Park for a cup game back in the eighties. I think we drew 1-1 and won the replay. The match was memorable due to the fact some lunatic managed to scale up the support columns and hang off the rafters. The surprise wasn't that he got up there but, how the daft bugger got down. The last I remember was seeing him dangling there, what happened after that is anyone's guess.Awaits post saying that was me.

Scott Sellers and Simon Barker for them, Ormandroyd and somebody else for us and then won the replay with a Daley inspired performance 4-2 I think. And no, it wasn't me.

I definitely remember a bloke climbing the rafters just before kick off as there was a really raucous away support that afternoon and chants of Tarzan to him. Next round was the QF v W Ham away......
Ayresome Park was a big bogey ground for us back in the day.
Selhurst Park. V Palace & Charlton & Wimbledon. Struggling to remember any wins. BFR and Brian Little both lost heir jobs abruptly after defeats there.

The only time I can recall Villa winning at Ayrsome Park was in 1992, Dean Saunders 2nd game for the Villa, we won 3-2 and he scored twice. Think Dalian got the other and Paul McGrath scored an OG for them.
