Was that even 5 minutes of highlights?
I can't think of a single thing that happened in the match that they should have shown but didn't.

Half of the match was Liverpool's centre-backs passing it back and forth - and that doesn't make great television.

Just Baker's sliding block near the end, I think that merited showing.
listened to the small faces baker song on you tube never heard it before- very good, but greatest ever?

Three 'Liverpool fans' in the pub yesterday, all of whom looked as if they had visited the city fewer times than I have and with south coast/cockney accents, debating whether Cissokho had ever played for them...

Lovern cost more than the whole Villa starting XI.
and he looked pretty good too. But fuck 'em, we won at Anfield!

I was a very proud Villan watching the match in a bar in Glasgow last night. Stuck out like a sore thumb, mind, but the locals didn't seem to mind. Great smash and grab by Villa, second in the league and looking like a team. Bring on the Arse.
However it was anything but smash and grab.

Nice to see the players go across at the end and acknowledge the fans, we do look to be kind of back on track again- very pleasing.

We only need 30 more points to avoid relegation. ;)
Can't wait to see The Beast or Kozak back in the side, we'll show more attacking intent then.
Onward and upward.
Oh I've just noticed we can't go much further up. :)

Is Joe Cole fit? I noticed he didn't make the subs bench.

Blimey, that was a long second half. We defended really well and hopefully now people will think twice before writing players like Baker off as 'terrible'. We could have done with a big man up front to hold the ball up although I thought Weimann was bloody great in the first half, especially tracking back and helping midfield. With the pinstripeyfilth still looking woeful, a perfect day all round.

Liverpool controlled the gme, had most of the possession, at home, and we nicked it one-nil. Classic smash and grab.

I'd completely forgotten about him.

Was that Chris Herd in the glasses sat on the bench behind Lambert?
