Looking on the Beeb site it looks like Europe won, is that right?

Should we consider letting the Americans have some help seeing as it's got so one-sided? Maybe Europe v rest of the world?

Donaldson's second into the green deserved to win something all on it's own.

Beat me to it, Jon. The lad has been superb and that was the cherry on the cake. Brilliant stuff.

So 16-11 in Europe's favour with one match still on. A nice comfortable win.

Every time we beat the USA I think of the Brookline green invasion and smile.

Mickelson might have been better sleeping on this . Smacks of washing your dirty laundry in public.

Poor class from Lefty, quite unlike him really. Shame.

Seems like a pitch for the next captaincy, seeing how desperate they are.

I think it will prove to be Phil's last RC, certainly as a player. It was most unlike him and smacks of sour grapes after Watson left him out on Saturday.

Overall, I would say a good but not great RC. Some of the golf was spectacular though and Gleneagles put on a great show.

Did anyone else think that SKY's coverage was average, indeed crap after it was confirmed we had won?

That fucking woman who presented the opening and closing ceremonies was utterly dreadful.

A lot has been made of Europe's team ethos by comparison to the Yanks. I would love to see the caddies on stage to lift the cup.

Too right - she'll end up on the bloody dancing shite as they usually do.
