Wonder will Lambo be tempted to go with 442 today? Sanchez and Delph should be able to hold their own with the former Spurs duo. Grealish has to start to give the crowd a boost more than anything. Nzogbia is marginally more likely to create something than Weimann on the other side. We have very little other options. maybe try Gabby wide as he has been useless in the centre so far. Would like to see our full backs push forward a bit more today but can only see more frustration ahead. With Dawson in the side Hull are likely to defend deep. But we don't have a Merson or Carbone type player to sit in there and take advantage

His second visit to VP this season as he was there v Parma.  Slight change in hair style this season but prob too subtle for most to notice!

Come on lads do this today, turn on the style and get some goals in. If results all go our way we can go 3rd. Early days I know.

I know what you are doing here SV. Obviously setting yourself up a post match thread post of "Wankers, we could have gone 3rd today"

There won't be many goals I don't think, but given our solid start, a few changes during the week, and Hull's extra games, plus them being bad travellers I think we should just edge it.  Seven points going into the run we have would be very respectable.

1-0 to the Villa (hope I am saying that a lot this season ;))  with Gabby to score a very rare goal.

3-1, 7 points from 9, gradual improvement continues. I also think we will surprise a few over the upcoming tough game period.

Paul Heaton is a Sheffield United supporter.

He's definitely had a long standing thing for Inter as well. I remember reading about it in a music magazine (which may have been Q) years and years ago.

We're going to see him. Bridlington Spa, December 6th. Anyway, Villa 0 Hull 4.

Vlaar and Aly both in the team, otherwise unchanged from the league team to date this season, no Sanchez

Paul Heaton is a Sheffield United supporter.

He's also a cock. I've unfortunately met him on a number of occasions.  Not the guy he likes people to think he is.

He can't be all bad.
